Special train from Jaipur to Shalimar: Will reach Shalimar on May 29 via Agra

In view of the increasing rush of passengers going from Rajasthan to the eastern states of Jharkhand, West Bengal, North Western Railway has decided to run a special train from Jaipur to Shalimar. So that the increased passenger load on other trains can be reduced somewhat. This train will run via Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Dhanbad, Asansol.
According to the schedule issued by North Western Railway, train number 09741 will leave Jaipur at 11.35 am on May 29, and will reach Shalimar station at 4 pm the next day. This train will run only for one day. This train will have 12 sleeper coaches and 2 general coaches. This train meanwhile will reach Shalimar station via Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay, Sasaram, Gaya, Koderma, Dhanbad, Asansol, Durgapur, Vardhaman, Dankuni.
At present waiting of 150 or more is going on on all trains going from Jaipur to Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh. This waiting is in trains running till June 15 and beyond. In view of the increasing waiting list and non-availability of space in trains, Railways have to increase coaches in running trains apart from special trains.
