Continuing the investigation following the revelation of anomalies in recruitment examinations conducted for government employees in Rajasthan, SOG has finally undertaken a major action in Banswara. Four people, including two forest guards, one candidate, and a broker, were arrested by SOG in the paper leak case of the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination, 2022.
During the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination 2022, there was also a paper leak incident in Banswara. In this, the question papers of the leaked paper were solved by the candidates at a fake examination center. As part of the ongoing investigation in this case, SOG Additional Superintendent of Police Bhavani Shankar and Deputy Superintendent Babulal Muraria along with the team reached Banswara and examined the documents of the selected candidates in the Forest Department office.
The SOG team has arrested Samuel and Suryakanta, selected in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination, along with the candidate Pratap and the broker Firoz Khan. Suryakanta and Firoz are husband-wife. According to Jagran, Samuel and Suryakanta were appointed, while Pratap was out of the exam due to an injury during the physical test.
So far, in the paper leak case of the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination, a total of 15 accused including four couples consisting of candidates and brokers have been arrested. These candidates came to the fore after the investigation of the case of sitting dummies during other competitive examinations including REET and the arrest of the brokers. The brokers distributed question papers to the candidates of Forest Guard Recruitment on mobile a few hours before the examination time. Police had earlier made arrests in this case. Later, when the matter was of paper leak it was handed over to SOG.
Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur has issued the recruitment for filling up the vacant post of Stenographer (Stenographer Grade III). The application form for this recruitment will be available from 23 January. Candidates who qualify for this recruitment will be able to fill up the form online mode till the last date is 22 February 2025.
