SMS hospital's Nursing in-charge raped a female employee; Police sent him to jail
Jaipur News: The woman alleges that the accused called her to a hotel regarding the transfer and then beat her up and then raped her by threatening her.
A female employee has filed a case in Jawahar Nagar police station accusing senior nursing officer Narendra Garg of Sawai Mansingh (SMS) hospital of rape and assault. The police took action based on the woman's complaint and arrested the accused nursing officer, and he was sent to Central Jail.
Assistant Police Commissioner Lakshmi Suthar stated that the woman filed a complaint with the Jawahar Nagar police station three days ago. She claimed that Narendra Garg, a nursing officer at SMS Hospital, had summoned her to a hotel for transfer talks. When she arrived, they were both arguing about something. Following the argument, the accused physically assaulted the woman before threatening her with rape.
Based on this complaint, the police responded immediately, conducting a preliminary investigation and arresting the accused nursing officer Narendra Garg. Following that, he appeared in court and was sentenced to the Central Jail.
Assistant Police Commissioner Lakshmi Suthar said that the investigation of the case is going on. Police are taking further action. A case has been registered against the accused under sections of rape and assault, and the woman is being provided security. Police are also investigating what other factors may be involved in this incident and whether such incidents have happened before.
