Skoda Kylaq will be the company's cheapest SUV; Know about the powerful engine and its specialty

Skoda, the Czech Republic vehicle manufacturer is planning to launch a new SUV in the Indian market soon. Before this, its Camouflaged Version has been shown by Skoda. Know what kind of engine, and feature information it has.

On 6th November 2024, Skoda will be launching its new SUV, Skoda Kylaq. The manufacturer will introduce it in the compact SUV market, and it will be equipped with a slew of impressive features. This car was totally produced in India and will be the third to be built on the MQB-A0-IN platform. The car is 99 percent ready, and there may be minor tweaks made at the last minute to improve some aspects.

Skoda will utilise a one-litre engine in the Kylaq SUV, like it does in other models. The one-litre engine will be upgraded with a three-cylinder turbocharger. Additionally, a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox will be provided. This will give it 178 Newton meters of torque and 114 horsepower. Skoda employs this engine in its Slavia and Kushak models.

The Skoda Kylaq SUV will have many great features provided by the company. It can feature many things such as shark fin antenna, high mounted stop lamp, roof rail, tailgate with new design, more than 25 active and passive features, six airbags as standard, ABS, EBD, hill assist, traction control, ISOFIX child anchorage and eight to 10-inch infotainment system along with LED lights.

Skoda has kept the Kylaq 3995 mm long. With which its wheelbase will be 2566 mm. At the same time, its ground clearance can also be around 190 mm.

Skoda Kyliq is going to launch in the Compact SUV Segment in times to come. In such a case, it will go directly in competition with powerful SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Tata Nexon. Skoda will quote the exact price at the time of its launch. But, it is expected that the company can launch it at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 8 lakh.
