Czech Republican car maker Skoda Auto India has launched the 7-seater Kodiaq in India. The car is equipped with safety features like a door edge protector, which protects its gate from damage.
The company first introduced this full-size SUV in 2017. As soon as the 2023 Kodiaq was launched, 759 units of it have been sold in 24 hours. Keeping in view the demand, the company has now increased the number of allotments of vehicles. Skoda will now allot 750 Kodiaq cars to customers every quarter.
The rear spoiler has been extended with an extra finlet to improve the aerodynamics of the car. Apart from this, large lounge steps and outer headrests have also been provided for the passengers in the second row of the car. The car is available in 3 variants Style, Sportline and L&K. The price of Kodiaq start from Rs.37.99 Lakh, which goes up to Rs.41.39 Lakh for the top variant. Prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
The Skoda Kodiaq has been given an updated 2.0 TSI EVO turbo petrol engine as per the BS-6 Phase-2 norms, generating 187 bhp power and 320 nm torque. The engine is tuned with a 7-speed automatic gearbox. This engine is 4.2% more fuel efficient than the previous model.
The car can also run on E-20 petrol. The car can accelerate to 100 Kmph in 7.8 seconds. The car has 6 driving modes Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual and Snow. The car supports a 4x4 system.
