Singing Cosplayer Hikari, whose song "Muscle Please!" (COVER) has over 3 million streaming views

Singing Cosplayer Hikari, an international singer who covers J-POP songs, mainly anime songs and vocaloid songs, started to distribute her new digital single "As You Like It" (COVER) worldwide on August 23, 2022.

The music video was also released on YouTube and Nico Nico on the same day. This song is a vocaloid song written and composed by Eve, who is world famous for the opening theme song "Kaikai Kitan" of the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," and the music video of Eve's self-covered “As You Like It” has been viewed over 100 million times, making the song popular not only in Japan but also around the world.

Singing Cosplayer Hikari began her activities on social networking sites such as YouTube on New Year's Day, 2021, with 37 cover song videos of anime songs and vocaloid songs, 17 of which have been distributed as music worldwide.

She first became known around the world for "Yume To Hazakura" (COVER), which was released in April 2021. Her video (with translated lyrics and subtitles in 13 languages), in which she sang against the beautiful cherry blossoms of Odawara Castle, wearing a kimono in colors similar to the Hatsune Miku illustration in the original song video, attracted a great deal of attention worldwide. It has been viewed a total of 2.54 million times and has reached No. 1 on the J-Pop charts in 14 countries.

The biggest hit in Japan was "Muscle Please!" (COVER), the first major distribution release from Yoshimoto Music in January 2022, in collaboration with Nakayama Kinni-kun, which also became a hit with 3.06 million views on YouTube related videos and 3 million streaming views on music streaming services.

Recently, she has been appearing at more and more events worldwide, starting with the UK's largest Japanese culture festival HYPER JAPAN ONLINE 2021 last July, followed by the JAPAN EXPO Paris 2022 in France this July and the Nagoya World Cosplay Summit 2022 in August. She is also scheduled to appear at Otaku Party Madrid in Spain from October 1 to 2.

She appears on the radio as a regular personality of the anime songs session program "ANIME SONGS PARTY!” with Yohei Onishi every Sunday from 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on Japan Cultural Broadcasting.She has studio sessions and talks with many anime song singers.
