Simple Energy's most affordable electric scooter Simple OneS launched; Know the range and price

Simple OneS, the new electric two-wheeler from Simple Energy, has been launched. Its ex-showroom price is set at less than Rs 1.5 lakh. It is the company's most affordable scooter till now. The company brought out the new model just weeks after the new Simple One Gen 1.5. The OneS scooter will be replacing the Dot One model and is expected to give a range of 181 km per single charge as certified by IDC.

Simple One's new model is better than its old Dot One model in every sense. The new model can go from 0-40 kmph in 2.5 seconds and can go as high as 105 kmph. The new model is powered by an 8.5 kW (11.3 bhp) PMS motor and a 3.7 kWh fixed battery. The top-of-the-line model of Simple One also has a removable battery pack, which increases its range to 248 km.

OneS scooter also has a 35-liter storage space under the seat with space for luggage. Its seat height is 770 mm and will be appropriate for all types of riders. There are four riding modes with this scooter - Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. The new OneS also comes in four colors - Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.

Many great features have been given in this scooter. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display, which is equipped with a 5G-enabled e-SIM (electronic SIM). Also, it has features like Bluetooth connectivity, customizable themes, turn-by-turn navigation, over-the-air (OTA) updates, Find My Vehicle, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMM), and regenerative braking. Apart from this, a new park assist function has also been added to it, which allows the vehicle to be moved forward and backward easily.

The Simple OneS scooter will currently be sold through 15 showrooms located in Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, and Mangalore. The company plans to expand its reach across the country soon and is set to open 150 new stores and 200 service centers in 23 states by next year.

Simple Energy is manufacturing its electric scooters at its manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Where 1.5 lakh vehicles can be produced every year. The company is rapidly expanding its presence in the field of electric mobility and OneS is being presented as a strong contender in the market.
