Simple Dot One electric scooter will be launched on this day, the company told the date of start of pre-booking

Simple Energy on Monday announced that it will launch its Simple Dot One electric scooter in the Indian market on December 15. This is also the time when pre-booking for the model will be started. Following the recent launch of the Simple One, the Simple Dot One is positioned as a sub-variant in the company's electric two-wheeler series.

Underscoring the need to make electric scooters more accessible to a larger group of customers by making them more affordable, the Simple Dot One is being seen as a more budget-friendly version of the Simple One model. Its official price will be known only next month, it is important to note here that the starting price of the Simple One model was Rs 1.45 lakh (before taxes and incentives).

The Simple Dot One will share its platform with the Simple One and will get a fixed 3.7 kWh battery. The company claims that the model has a certified range of 151 kilometers and is equipped with specially designed tires that increase its on-road range.

Apart from this, the model will get 30 liters of under-seat storage area, a touchscreen instrument cluster, and support for app connectivity, among other highlights. Deliveries of the Simple Dot One model will begin in January 2024. Much official information related to this is yet to come.
