Shiv Thakare, the Reality TV King, Buys His Dream House in Mumbai

Dreams do come true, and for reality TV star Shiv Thakare, 2023 was a year of realizing them. After a whirlwind year of back-to-back reality show appearances, including Bigg Boss 16, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, Shiv has achieved a lifelong goal: buying his own house in Mumbai.

"It's easy to get work in Mumbai, but it's difficult to buy a house," Shiv shared on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, his voice thick with emotion. But for Shiv, hard work and dedication have paved the way to success. He proudly took the keys to his new home to the show, not just to celebrate with his "Jhalak family," but also to honor his roots and the people who supported him through his journey.

Farah Khan, a judge on the show and a close friend of Shiv's, added a special touch to the occasion by gifting him a Ganpati idol for his new home. This gesture, Shiv said, brought back memories of his family's struggles. "There was a time when me, my aunt, and my parents were trying to buy a house for Rs 30 lakh, including a bank loan," he recalled. "But now, I have a car with a value of Rs 30 lakh."

Shiv's journey is truly inspiring. From humble beginnings, delivering newspapers and milk in Amravati, to becoming a reality TV king, he has come a long way. He credits his family and fans for being his pillar of strength. "My biggest support system was always my family and fans," Shiv revealed. "With my work, I do keep entertaining my fans, but I always wanted to make my family proud, and my house is a gift for them."

For Shiv, his new home is more than just bricks and mortar; it's a symbol of his love and gratitude for his family. He remembers his mother's unwavering support, encouraging him to dream big, and his aunt and brother-in-law campaigning for him during Bigg Boss Marathi. Now, it's his turn to give back. "It's my time to do as much as I can do for them, and I will keep doing it," he promised.
