The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.3 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal. The weather department estimates that the sky will remain clear on Monday also. There will be fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be 24 and nine degrees respectively. More or less, similar weather will persist throughout the week. By Friday, the day temperature is expected to reach 23 degrees while the minimum temperature will reach seven degrees.
According to the Meteorological Department, a fresh western disturbance may affect northwest India from December 11. North-west India also includes the state of Rajasthan. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, if a western disturbance becomes active on December 11, then there may be rain in many districts of Rajasthan. It cannot be said for how many days this western disturbance will remain active in Rajasthan.
According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, a new western disturbance will become active in 24 hours. Due to the increase in the pressure of northern winds, the temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degrees. Due to the active weak system, there is a possibility of light and moderate rain in many areas of Rajasthan.
The India Meteorological Department issued a fog alert for five different states on December 11. Where there will be dense to very dense fog in many districts of Purvanchal of Uttar Pradesh and dense fog in some parts of Bihar. On December 11, dense fog is likely to prevail over isolated parts of North Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya in the morning hours.
According to the report released by IMD, there is a possibility of hailstorms at different places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on December 12.
Due to westerly winds in Bihar, the minimum temperature continues to fall. As soon as the rains end, the effect of dense fog will remain in the state. The minimum temperature in most parts including Patna is likely to drop by two to four degrees Celsius during 48 hours. Due to these, there are chances of an increase in cold.
Due to the increasing cold in Punjab, people are forced to stay in their homes. The speed of vehicles has also slowed down due to fog. People are also facing problems while driving due to fog. According to the Meteorological Department, today the day will be sunny as well as cloudy. According to the forecast, the maximum temperature will be recorded at 24 degrees and the minimum will be 10 degrees Celsius.
