Sameera Reddy wanted to get plastic surgery done 10 years ago, later changed the decision

Actress Sameera Reddy, who was seen in films like Race and Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, is missing from the film screen these days. In a recent media interview, Sameera talked about her career. During this, she revealed that there was a time when people associated with the industry were getting surgeries done like crazy, then she also wanted to get surgeries done on her body parts, but later she changed her decision.
During a mid-day conversation, Sameera said- '10 years ago everyone around me was getting plastic surgery done. Some wanted to get their nose, some bone structure and some private part surgery done. I remember many people suggested breast surgery.
I used to think about surgery many times because people often told me to do it. Although I feel good now that I did not do it. Perhaps I would not have been comfortable doing so.
Sameera further said- 'Things have changed since today. Now it is your own choice what you want to do. If you find happiness in it, then no one has the right to judge.
In an interview given to Mid Day, Sameera said- I think my mental breakdown started when I had no one. No one was there to explain or show me the way. I remember thinking very badly about my body and career. I had gone into depression from which it was impossible to return. At that time I broke down badly. I got cut off from people and my mental state was also not right.
Sameera further said- It took me two-three years to get out of this situation. When I came out of depression after so long, my first aim was to help people who are going through mental problems like me.
Although Sameera has been missing from the film industry for a long time, she is often known for her outspoken posts on social media. Sometime back, Sameera flaunted her gray hair and proved that she doesn't believe in appearances.
