Russia will take North Korea's help for Ukraine war, Putin will meet Kim Jong Un; Arms deal will be sealed

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may visit Russia this month. This information has been given by CNN citing the American government. According to the information, Kim Jong will hold 'leader-level diplomatic talks' with President Vladimir Putin to take forward the arms talks.

US National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson has claimed that the US has information that North Korean leaders will take forward talks on arms negotiations. "We have information that Kim Jong-un will continue this agreement at the leader level diplomacy," Watson said.

However, spokesperson Watson has not claimed when and where will the two leaders meet. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu recently visited North Korea, during which he also tried to convince Pyongyang to sell war materials, missiles, and ammunition to Russia.

America has also urged North Korea to stop talks. Watson said, "We urge the DPRK to end its arms talks with Russia and adhere to public commitments made by Pyongyang not to provide or sell arms to Russia."

America has also warned North Korea that if it gives arms to Russia, it may face various types of sanctions.

Earlier, the White House claimed that Russia and North Korea were moving forward with their talks regarding a possible arms deal, which would give Russia a variety of critical munitions along with artillery.

Local media CNN, citing recently released US intelligence, reported that the Kremlin is desperate to get more supplies for its invasion of Ukraine. News of a possible deal has emerged despite North Korea's public denials.

By making this intelligence public, the US wants to tell North Korea that the US is closely monitoring these efforts.
