Ruckus over controversial video in Italy

All parties are busy campaigning for the general election in Italy on September 25. Right-wing candidate Giorgia Meloni is being considered a strong contender for the post of Prime Minister. However, about a month before the voting, she has been embroiled in controversy by posting a rape video.
This video is from the city of Piacenza. In this, a black man is raping a refugee woman from Ukraine. Posting this video, Meloni claimed that she would strictly deal with such incidents. On the other hand, opponents are calling it a disgusting gimmick to get votes.
Meloni is the leader of the right-wing party 'Brothers of Italy', which has demanded strict enforcement of the law in the country. He is being considered a strong contender for the post of Prime Minister in the elections to be held next month. Meloni, 45, has given controversial and outspoken statements many times. This time she went a step ahead and did such an act on social media, due to which the common people and their political opponents got furious.
On Sunday, Meloni posted a video of a sidewalk in the city of Piacenza. In this, a man of African origin is raping a woman who took refuge in Italy from Ukraine. The video was not even blurred. In the caption, Meloni wrote, Refugee woman of Ukraine is being raped in broad daylight. How can one remain silent on such atrocities against women? If I win the election, security and law and order will be restored in the country.
According to a recent survey, Meloni and his party are very close to winning the election. On the other hand, politics has been heated by this video posted by Meloni.
Enrico Letta, the leader of the Center-Left Democratic Party, an opposition party, said – Meloni has done a dirty act by posting this video. Screenshots of this video were also published in the local media, but the woman's face and body were blurred in it. Meloni didn't even bother. This is the reason why he is being accused of polishing politics by revealing the identity of the rape victim. Meloni has not yet clarified this.
The accused is a resident of Guyana. He himself is a refugee. He raped the woman passing through the deserted footpath on Sunday morning. A man who was some distance away from this footpath made a video of the incident from the window of his apartment. Meloni later posted it on Twitter. The accused has been arrested. The woman has been admitted to the hospital.
The Italian government of Mario Draghi fell in July. Draghi wanted the support of five coalition partners on a bill. These parties refused. Italy has had a record of no government for a long time. Twice there were significant electoral reforms, but no major changes.
There are some big parties like the Christian Democratic Party, the Italian Communist Party and the Brothers of Italy. Apart from this, there are dozens of smaller parties and they unite in the greed for power despite differing ideologies, the government runs for a few months or years, then falls. Between 1946 and 1994, 60 governments fell. Parliament seats were reduced from 600 to 400 in 1994 to avoid political blackmailing. There are now only 200 members in the Senate instead of 315.
