Rozlyn Khan Gears Up for Music Video After Defeating Cancer
During her cancer journey, Rozlyn not only fought with the illness but also with trolls who body-shamed her for her hair loss and weight gain due to chemotherapy.
After defeating cancer, PETA model and actress Rozlyn Khan is ready to rock again with her upcoming music album. She was last seen in the music video "Aa Bhi Jaa," but her plans to shoot for another video were derailed by a diagnosis of 4th-stage oligometastatic breast cancer.
Now, Rozlyn is about to resume her work, and her next music video is set to be released on a big music label. "The song is already recorded in the voice of a really good singer and composed too," she said. "The song is ready. The only thing pending is shooting."
During her cancer journey, Rozlyn not only fought with the illness but also with trolls who body-shamed her for her hair loss and weight gain due to chemotherapy. She ignored the negativity and focused on her recovery.
"I was taken aback since my doctors never told me that I will put on weight due to steroids given to me during my cancer treatments," she said. "It was a big challenge for me to accept myself with so much of weight as I was always having slim and athletic body. I approximately puts on 10 to 12 kgs post cancer treatment, which put all my upcoming projects and music videos on hold."
But Rozlyn is determined to get back into shape and resume her career. She plans to start exercising and eating healthy to lose the weight, and she is confident that she will be able to achieve her goals.
In addition to her music videos, Rozlyn is also a theater artist and has acted in plays based on the novels of Munshi Premchand. Her upcoming ventures and web series will be announced soon.
