Royal Enfield's Scram 411 has been discontinued for the Indian market. It was first launched by the company in the year 2022. This bike has been prepared on the base of the old Himalayan 411. In India, this motorcycle will be replaced by the new Royal Enfield Scram 440, which has been launched with many great features.

Royal Enfield has discontinued its Scram 411 in India. The company launched this variant for the first time in March 2022 As it were, the company has now removed it from its Indian website. Not only this, but it has also stopped taking bookings for this bike from the dealers. It is believed that one of the reasons for its discontinuation is due to the launch of the new Scram 440.

Royal Enfield Scram 411 has been prepared on the base of the old Himalayan 411. Which was built on the same chassis with less bodywork. The bike used 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels. Suspension duty was given through telescopic front forks. It was made slightly lighter than the Himalayan 411. So that more people could adopt it and it was also capable of light off-roading. Talking about the price, it used to come at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.06 lakh.

The Royal Enfield Scram 411 used a 411 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which generated 24.3 bhp of power and 32 Nm of torque. Its motor was mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike also got an analog instrument console with digital readout, while the Tripper navigation screen was given as an option.

The new Scram 440 will replace the discontinued Scram 411 in India. It uses a bored-out engine, which generates more power. Royal Enfield has introduced a bigger 440 cc motor based on the same motor by removing the shortcomings of the Scram 411. The bike uses a 443cc, air and oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which generates 25.4 PS of power and 34 Nm of torque. A sixth gear has been added for better highway rideability.

The Scram 440 has been introduced in wire-spoked as well as alloy wheels. The bike has been launched with 5 color options, which are blue, green, gray, and teal. Along with this, it has features like a brand new LED headlight, a new instrument console, a new single-piece seat, a USB charging port, a Tripper navigation pod, and round rear-view mirrors.
