Royal Enfield has introduced the Classic 350 in the Indian market. Its prices will be announced on September 1. Cosmetic changes have been made in the updated version of the bike. But no changes have been made to the engine.
Now, the new Classic 350 comes with an LED headlamp. Other than this, its instrument cluster has been updated with a new taillight and USB charging port. At both wheels, disc brakes are given along with single and dual-channel ABS. It has also been given 6-step adjustable shock absorbers at both wheels. It had 18 and 19-inch wheels with alloy wheels only in special variants. Besides, new colors have been added to the bike, including Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Grey and Black with Copper Highlight, Chrome, and Copper, and Regal Green. It has been brought in Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signal, Dark and Emerald variants.
It still comes with a 349 cc, J series engine. The single-cylinder unit makes 20.2 BHP of power and 27 Newton meters of torque. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield brings the best in the 350-cc category. In such a situation, it will directly fight it out with motorcycles such as the Honda CB 350, Jawa, and Yezdi. The company will declare its price on September 1. Beginning with the current version, its ex-showroom price starts from Rs 1.93 lakh and for the dual-channel ABS version, the ex-showroom price goes up to Rs 2.25 lakh. In this case, there may be a slight increase in the price of the new Classic 350.
