Royal Enfield has a strong plan! Aims to invest Rs 3,000 crores over the next eight years
Over eight years, Royal Enfield has declared that it will invest roughly Rs 3,000 crores in Tamil Nadu. It is anticipated that 2000 people will benefit directly and indirectly from this investment. On January 8, 2024, in Chennai, at the Global Investors Meet, Royal Enfield and the Government of Tamil Nadu inked a Memorandum of Understanding.

The corporation is going to invest three thousand crore rupees. It is anticipated that this investment will provide 2,000 individuals with direct and indirect job possibilities. On January 8, 2024, in Chennai, at the Global Investors Meet, Royal Enfield and the Tamil Nadu government inked a memorandum of understanding.
The Royal Enfield motorcycles are already manufactured at its plants in Vallam Vadagal and Oragadam. Consequently, this will be the third Indian production plant for the corporation. The manufacturer had a successful year in 2023 with the release of the Super Meteor 650 and Himalayan 450. In addition to this, the company is working on developing several new bikes. This covers the Shotgun 650 and similar models.
Regarding this, the company's CEO B Govindarajan said- “Tamil Nadu has been our home; the bedrock of our engineering, technological and manufacturing foundation for many decades. This strategic investment in Tamil Nadu is an important milestone for us at Royal Enfield. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Tamil Nadu for their unwavering support Express."
