Rolls-Royce Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis introduced, this luxury car is inspired by Solar Eclipse

Luxury British automobile manufacturer Rolls-Royce has introduced a limited-run private collection named Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis. This car is inspired by Solar Eclipse.

The company has made only 24 units of it and it shows the interaction of light and dark. The launch of this special collection coincides with the solar eclipse falling on 14th October. Come, let us know about this special luxury car.

The exterior of the model is painted Lyrical Copper, reflecting the light cast by a total solar eclipse. Powder copper pigment has been included in its paint, which looks quite good when light falls on it. The inserts below the Pantheon grille and the brake calipers are decorated in mandarin color, reflecting the intense waves of sunlight as the eclipse progresses. This color also adorns the hand-painted coachline.

Its cabin has been provided with a starlight headliner with a special animation effect. This animation is used when the coach doors are closed and the engine starts. This animation remains visible for exactly 7 minutes and 31 seconds, which is the longest possible duration of a total solar eclipse. Let us tell you that it took about a year to develop this animation technique.

The model's illuminated facia is adorned with 1,846 laser-etched stars, symbolizing the timeline of the total eclipse. It took more than 100 hours to complete the placement of these wires for each unit. The facia is decorated with a special dial incorporating a brilliant cut 0.5-carat diamond recalling the 'diamond ring' effect.
