Road jammed on the death of a woman in Jaipur: Death due to drowning in water, protest by registering a case of murder

Road jammed on the death of a woman in Jaipur

People blocked the road at Sanganer police station circle on Monday in connection with the suspicious death of a woman in Jaipur. A woman living in Bindayaka died on Sunday morning due to drowning in a water hole. By registering a case of murder against the Susral side, the people of the Pihar side protested demanding the arrest of the accused. The police force of three police stations diverted the vehicles and got them out. The police officers pacified the matter by persuading them to take quick action.
SHO (Sanganer) Mahendra Singh said that Shanti Devi (41), a resident of Bindayaka, had died on Sunday morning. Shanti Devi was married 13 years back. He has an 11-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter. Shanti Devi's dead body was found lying in a pool of water at her in-law's house on Sunday morning. Police kept Shanti Devi's dead body in the mortuary of CK Birla Hospital. A case of murder was registered against the in-laws on behalf of the Pihar side at Bindayaka police station.
Demanding the arrest of the daughter's killers, the Pihar side along with a large number of people reached under the Sanganer police station circle culvert on Monday afternoon. At around 2 pm, the people gathered under the culvert blocked the road and demonstrated. Police reached the spot on the information of people's uproar and protest. There was a jam when people protested by blocking the road. Police seizure of three police stations was imposed on the spot. Police diverted the vehicles from other routes after the formation of a jam. After about one and a half hours of discussion, a mutual agreement was reached between the police officers and the family members. After taking quick action, arresting the accused and agreeing to transfer the investigation to another police station, the matter was pacified. After which the dead body was cremated.
