Road accident in Thailand, 11 people died: Going for a holiday in Bangkok on Lunar Year

Eleven people, including two children, were killed in a road accident during the Lunar Year holiday in Thailand. Police informed us about this on Monday. According to reports, on late Saturday night, 12 people were going to Bangkok for a holiday in a van.
Meanwhile, in the Sikhio district, the van overturned due to a jolt and caught fire. According to AFP, a boy survived by climbing out of the window of the van. While everyone else got trapped inside and died of burns.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, the people of Emergency Services reached there. Who took the injured and 11 dead bodies to the hospital. At the same time, a 20-year-old student who survived the accident told that he does not know how this accident happened. He had fallen asleep after sitting in the van. After this, he woke up with a scream. When he woke up, he saw that the van was on fire, after which he immediately got out through the window.
Nikhom Zion of the local rescue team, who reached the spot with emergency services, said the van exploded seconds after catching fire. Within 30 seconds, the entire van was burnt to ashes.
Zion told- I just stood and watched, could not do anything. We think the main reason behind the fire was fuel spilled on the road after the van overturned. However, it is still being investigated how the whole accident happened.
Thailand ranks 9th in Asia for the highest number of accidents. At the beginning of the new year itself, 146 people lost their lives in road accidents there. According to the report of Bangkok Post, there were 1183 road accidents in three days. 1182 people were injured.
