‘Rising Rajasthan’ Summit: Strengthening Japan-Rajasthan Ties for Industrial Growth and Sustainability

Jaipur: Japan Country Session themed ‘Versatility of Industries: Manufacturing and Beyond’ concluded on the opening day of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 at JECC, Sitapura, Jaipur. The session also focussed on forging strong partnership with stakeholders to strengthen Rajasthan’s industrial ecosystem with host of technology and innovative industrial strategies of Japan.

On Japan’s expertise in cutting edge technologies, sustainability and digital transformation, there was also talk of how the two can collaborate to push economic growth in Rajasthan. Harnessing the session, Rajasthan reiterated their shared commitment with Japan to deepen economic, technological and cultural ties and lay down actionable partnerships.

Hon’ble Ambassador of Japan to India, Mr. Keiichi Ono expressed appreciation for the Rajasthan Government’s proactive steps to establish a right business environment for Japanese investors. Opportunities for collaboration in manufacturing, automotive industries and in renewable energy, with a special mention of Rajasthan's huge potential in solar energy were highlighted by him.

Ltd.; Ms. Nivruti Rai, CEO, Invest India; Mr. Nishant Sood, Managing Director for India; and Mr. Takamitsu Araki, First Senior Vice President, NIDEC Corporation.

This event showcased the distinct and lucrative collaborations that Japan and Rajasthan are undertaking, in order to grow together, while highlighting sustainable initiatives.
