Richhpal, a retired soldier of Sikar, gave new life to 4 people even after his death. After being brain dead in a private hospital in Jaipur, a retired soldier has given new life to 4 people by donating his organs. His heart, both kidneys and liver were donated to 4 different people. Its transplant was done today.
After consultations with the members of the State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (SOTO) and doctors from the private hospital, Richhpal's family members decided to donate his organ. 57-year-old Richpal is a resident of Sikar district. For 17 years, in the 24 Rajput Regiment, he has given his services to the country as a hero.
On August 29, Richhpal was returning home with household items from the market in Sikar. Meanwhile, his accident happened with a car. Richhpal was seriously injured after a car accident, after which he was admitted to a private hospital on Sikar Road, Jaipur, where he was declared brain dead late last evening.
After Richhpal was brain dead, his heart was transplanted to a patient admitted to a private hospital located near Jawahar Circle, JLN Marg, Jaipur. While the liver was sent to a private hospital located in Sitapura. One kidney was installed in SMS Hospital, while the other kidney was installed in the hospital where Richhpal was admitted, while a patient was admitted.
This will be the 11th heart transplant in the state, which will be completed by late evening. Heart transplant doctor Ajit Bana and his team is doing the internal hospital. This heart is being applied to Dinesh Kaur Meena, 34, who is currently serving in the Rajasthan Police. Dr. Bana himself is doing this 7th heart transplant in Rajasthan.
