Reliance AGM 2023: Jio 5G service will be available across the country by December this year, one million 5G sales will start

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is holding its 46th Annual General Meeting today. The AGM is being held through video conferencing. The company has said in this meeting that Reliance Jio will roll out 5G service across the country by the end of this year i.e. December.

RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that by the end of this year, Jio will have one million 5G cells. The company is trying to attract more and more customers with five times more net portability than other telecom companies.

Addressing the RIL AGM 2023, Mukesh Ambani said that with Jio 5G, we have the potential to transform almost all sectors of the economy. These sectors range from education to agriculture and health services.

Mukesh Ambani said that the company started the 5G rollout in October last year. With this, Jio 5G has covered 96 percent of the cities in the country in just 9 months. He said that by December 23 this year, the entire country will get Jio 5G services.

Jio 5G is believed to be the world's fastest 5G rollout so far. Mukesh Ambani said that about 85% of the total 5G cells operating in India are in Jio's network. The company is adding one 5G cell to its network every 10 seconds.

In RIL AGM 2023, an update has been shared regarding Jio AirFiber. The company has removed the curtain from the launch date of Jio AirFiber. In the meeting of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Mukesh Ambani said that Jio AirFiber is being launched on 19 September.
