According to the guidelines, people in the age group of 13 to 70 years can register themselves for Amarnath Yatra. A health certificate is mandatory for all pilgrimage sites. At the same time, pregnant women of 6 weeks or more are not allowed to travel.
On March 14, Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced the date for the pilgrimage. He told me about the preparations of the administration. He had said that people going on pilgrimage are the priority of Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Better health services and other facilities will be made available to all the pilgrims coming to the state. On the other hand, from today onwards, special doctors will start sitting for the medical examination of the Amarnath Yatris in the Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, so that the registration can be done after the medical examination of the Yatris.
The Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) will also telecast the morning and evening aarti lives for people across the globe. The Amarnath Yatra app has been released on the Google Play Store to avail travel, weather and many services online.
