Redmi Watch 3 Active launched with 12 days battery life and Bluetooth calling, price less than Rs 3000

Redmi Watch 3 Active has been officially launched in India along with the Xiaomi Smart TV X series and Redmi 12 series. The new smartwatch comes with a large 1.83-inch display. Due to its rectangular dial, it looks like the Apple Watch series.

The Redmi Watch 3 Active has been priced at Rs 2,999 and will go on sale starting August 3 through official Xiaomi channels. The new Redmi Watch 3 Active bears a striking resemblance to last year's Redmi Watch 2 Lite, though there are a few major changes.
Firstly, the smartwatch features a large 1.85-inch LCD display with 450nits brightness. The frame is mostly plastic, though it has a 'non-conductive vacuum metallization' coating to give it a premium look. The display also offers a 60Hz refresh rate for a smooth scrolling experience.
The Redmi Watch 3 Active works with both iPhone and Android smartphones. Users will need to connect to the device via Bluetooth 5.3 and manage the watch with the Mi Fitness app. The app also gives users access to over 200 watch faces.
Health-related features include a 24/7 heart rate monitor, a step tracker, SpO2, and a stress calculator. The smartwatch also offers menstrual cycle tracking. The Redmi Watch 3 offers active Bluetooth calling which can be extremely useful in emergencies. The watch also allows users to make an SOS call by pressing the side button thrice. Emergency contacts can be managed through the app.
Talking about the battery, it has been promised a battery backup of 12 days. A magnetir charging cable is included in the package, but there is no adapter. Xiaomi says that the Redmi Watch 3 Active supports quick charging and can be fully charged in 1 hour 40 minutes.
