Redmi Pad Pro 5G listed on Xiaomi's global site, will enter soon

Xiaomi launched the 5G version of its popular Redmi Pad Pro tablet in China just a month ago. After which there were updates regarding its global launch. Now accurate information has been received about the global launch of this tablet. It has recently been listed on Xiaomi's global website. Which shows that its launch date is near.

The listing of the tablet shows that it has the same specifications as the regular model. Interestingly, the brand is also preparing to launch the 5G variant of its POCO Pad tablet in markets like India. For those who don't know, the POCO Pad is a rebrand of the Redmi Pad 5G.

The Redmi Pad Pro 5G supports dual SIMs and provides 5G connectivity for both. It shares the same specs as the previously released Wi-Fi-only model. The tablet features a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen with 2560 × 1600 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel can achieve 600 nits of brightness and supports Dolby Vision. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The gadget is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor running at up to 2.4GHz, along with an Adreno 710 GPU. It has 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be upgraded up to 1.5TB using microSD. The operating system is HyperOS, which is based on Android 14.

Camera features include an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The tablet is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and dual microphones.

The tablet measures 280×181.85×7.52mm and weighs 571 grams. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ac) on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0. The device packs a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
