RCB vs RR: Rajasthan Royals won the toss and chose to bowl, this veteran was shown the way out

42nd match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). In this match at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Rajasthan Royals' captain Riyan Parag has opted to bowl first having won the toss.

Even in this match, Rajasthan Royals are not having the services of their usual captain Sanju Samson. He is also absent from this match because of injury. In his place, Riyan Parag is leading the team. In the toss, Parag has told that a single change has been made in the team, left-arm fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqui has been added to the playing XI instead of Mahish Teekshana. Meanwhile, RCB captain Rajat Patidar has told that there is no alteration in his team's playing XI.

So far 32 matches have been played between RCB and RR, in which RCB has won 15 and RR has won 14 matches. There was no result of three matches. Last year i.e. in IPL 2024, RR defeated RCB in both the matches, while in 2023 the match was in the name of RCB. RR won the 2022 playoffs.
