RBI Note Exchange Rule: Only today's time to exchange Rs 2,000 notes, will you be able to deposit the notes in October?

The last period for exchanging or depositing Rs 2,000 notes is only today. If you also have a note of Rs 2,000, then you should immediately go to the bank and deposit that note.

Rs 2,000 notes will remain valid from tomorrow. This means that you will not be able to use this note. RBI has not withdrawn the legal tender condition. Along with this, the bank has also not extended the date of note exchange and deposit.

According to the update issued by RBI, so far 93 percent of the Rs 2,000 notes in the circular have been returned. This means that most of the notes are back in circular form. In such a situation, there is little possibility of extending this deadline.

Still, 100 percent of the notes have not been returned in the circular. In such a situation, if a person has Rs 2,000 notes, will he be able to exchange the notes on September 30, 2023, or not? In such a situation, RBI can take a decision that after September 30, we will not be able to use the Rs 2,000 note for transactions, but we can easily deposit this note by going to the bank.

RBI had given permission to exchange notes of Rs 2,000 with a limit of Rs 20,000 at a time. Come, and let us know how you can exchange Rs 2,000 notes.
