Rajnath Singh said- India does not want war: Said- If war is imposed on us then ready to face every challenge
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on his first visit to the state after the India-China standoff in Arunachal Pradesh. Here in Siang, Rajnath Singh said on Tuesday that India does not want war, but if war is imposed on us, we are ready to deal with any challenge and any situation. He had come here to inaugurate the Siyom bridge built by the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
The Defense Minister said that India never promotes war. We always want to have cordial relations with our neighbours. It is inherited by us from Lord Rama and Buddha. But if India tries to provoke, then we are capable of facing any situation.
During this, Rajnath Singh reiterated PM Modi's resolve 'this is not the era of war'. He said that we do not believe in war, but if war is imposed on us, we are ready to face any challenge.
Raksha Mantri inaugurated the Siyom bridge along with 27 infrastructure projects built by the Border Roads Organization (BRO). After inaugurating the bridge, the Defense Minister spoke to the media. He said that we do not want to give a message to anyone here. There was a big program that's why we have come. Rajnath Singh said that he used to be confused about BRO (Border Road Organisation) and BRO (brothers), but seeing the work they are doing, I felt that they are really brothers of the armed forces. BRO is playing an important role in the hilly areas.
Rajnath Singh said that I am happy to dedicate 28 projects on behalf of BRO to the nation in the border areas of the country. It is also my pleasure to release the BRO@2047 Vision Document. The speed with which they are working is commendable. The priority of the government is to connect more and more border areas, so as to instill a sense of confidence among the people living there.
