Rajasthan News: Now jail inmates will be seen filling fuel in vehicles at petrol pumps, know what is the government's plan

The Rajasthan government has flagged off a unique scheme. Under the scheme, petrol pump opening on jail premises land. At the same time, filling of fuel at these pumps will be given to the prisoners serving long sentences. The District Judge, Pramod Kumar, informed that the government has issued an order to open petrol-diesel pumps in the premises of the jail. He added that now the jail administration has started working to avail this scheme.

Now, a place is being sought to open the pump in jail premises to make this scheme started by the government a reality. Looking for a place where there would be no disruption in the security system, the jail administration is searching so that work may be done smoothly.

According to Amar Ujala, the work of selling oil at the newly opened petrol pump will be entrusted to those prisoners who are serving a long sentence in jail and are going to stay in jail for a long time. Prisoners with good conduct and character and good track record can also be employed in the work related to the petrol pump. At the same time, the rules and regulations applicable to the pump will be decided by the jail administration. Every work will be done according to the rules. It is being told that the work of managing the petrol-diesel pump will be the responsibility of the jail administration. At the same time, it is not clear yet how much will be the participation of oil companies in the petrol pump to be opened in the jail.
