Rajasthan News: ACB team reached Rayala, ACB Ajmer had detained the squad

After the amount of Rs. 1.47 lakh was found with Bhilwara Transport Inspector Mahesh Pareek and his 5 guards, who were caught by Ajmer ACB near Hazari Kheda on Tuesday, the Bhilwara ACB team reached Rayala, the native village of the inspector who came under the scanner and investigated the bank locker.

It may be recalled that following up on the complaint of long-standing illegal recovery by RTO on the Bhilwara-Chit-tor highway, on the instructions of headquarters Jaipur, the Ajmer ACB team surrounded and detained in custody Transport Department Inspector Mahesh Pareek along with five guards from Hazari Kheda on Tuesday.

During the investigation, the ACB team found cash of Rs 1.47 lakh which was suspicious, and an investigation was started. The ACB, while probing the cash and the deducted notes, today with the help of Bhilwara ACB, searched the SBI Bank locker of Inspector Pareek in Rayala. Though the ACB did not find any documents or money like Benami's property in the locker, some gold was found in the locker whose bills are being investigated.
