Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari on Sunday reached Statue Circle on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Jaipur's founder and former Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and lit the lamp and paid tribute to him. Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage Mayor Kusum Yadav was also present on this occasion. The Deputy CM said that Jaipur was settled as a planned city.

Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari said - Heritage City, Jaipur should come in the country's top three cities for cleanliness

Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari called for efforts to bring in Jaipur city in the top three cities of the country in respect of cleanliness. She said that we all should make efforts together so that this heritage city can be made more magnificent. To keep Jaipur clean is not only the responsibility of the government or the local administration, but the citizens of the city should also co-operate fully in this.

On the birth anniversary of Jaipur's founder and former Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari reached Statue Circle lit the lamp, and paid tribute to him. On this occasion, the Mayor of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage Kusum Yadav was present. The Deputy CM said that Jaipur was settled as a planned city, which was famous for its architecture and wide roads, adding that even today the facilities built in a planned manner over centuries in the city of Jaipur are being used.

He said, Jaipur is now a UNESCO World Heritage City and it is the responsibility of all of us to work towards preserving the development of Jaipur. Diya Kumari underlined that along with saving the heritage, keeping the city clean is not only the responsibility of the government and local administration but also that of the citizens of the city.
