The child started crying while hugging the kidnapper, he was not ready to leave him. Then tears came into the eyes of the kidnapper too. Later, the police took the child from the kidnapper and handed him over to his mother.

The Jaipur Police has now recovered the child who was kidnapped from the capital Jaipur about 14 months ago. In the police station, on Wednesday when the police handed over the child from the kidnapper to his mother, there was an awkward scene.

As she hugged him, the child went wailing and refused to let him go. His eyes were running tears, too. Then the police took the child from the kidnapper and handed him over to his mother.

The child became very attached to the kidnapper, as he stayed with him for about a year. The Jaipur Police have arrested Uttar Pradesh Police Head Constable Tanuj Chahar, who had kidnapped the child.

According to Deputy Commissioner of police Digant Anand, the accused Tanuj had kidnapped the 11-month-old child on June 11, 2023, and three days later, on June 14, the child's parents lodged the report of his disappearance at Sanganer Sadar police station.

The report said that four men had come to their house, among whom Tanuj, an acquaintance of the mother, was also there. These four took away her child. After the report was registered, the police searched for the child, but was unsuccessful.

He said that the search for the accused Tanuj was on, success was achieved on Wednesday, the police arrested Tanuj from Gonda in Uttar Pradesh. The police reached Jaipur on Thursday with Tanuj and the child.

Police interrogation revealed that Tanuj considers the child as his son, he stayed in Jaipur for nine months to kidnap the child. After kidnapping the child, Tanuj lived as a monk to hide his identity.
