The makers of the movie have now added a historic achievement to their name with the release of their first song, “Raja Ram.” This milestone was marked by the song’s launch during the Muhurat Trading bell-ringing ceremony at the National Stock Exchange (NSE), making it the first film ever to launch a song at this significant Diwali event.

With the release of “Raja Ram,” The Sabarmati Report has created a unique moment in the country’s cinematic and financial history. This event marks the first time a film has combined a song launch with the ceremonial Muhurat Trading at NSE, an auspicious occasion celebrated during the festival of Diwali.
The teaser of the film features an impactful dialogue by Vikrant Massey: “Our country is the largest democracy in the world, Your Honor.” This line emphasizes the strength and unity of India and serves as a reminder to the leaders that every citizen deserves justice in the world’s largest democracy. It is a film about a huge thing in Indian history, something that its people are devoted to progress and justice for.
Producer Ekta R. Kapoor, her successful trend in the industry, is returning with nostalgia of her most popular tv show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after 20 years. The song “Ram Ram” from the original show is being reimagined as “Raja Ram,” which is set to strike a chord with audiences, linking old memories with a fresh cinematic interpretation.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, a division of Balaji Telefilms Limited, and Vikir Films Production, The Sabarmati Report stars Vikrant Massey, Rashi Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra in lead roles. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R. Kapoor, Amul V. Mohan, and Anshul Mohan, the film will be globally distributed by Zee Studios and is set to release on November 15, 2024.
