Rahul can neither become Savarkar nor Gandhi: Deputy CM of Maharashtra said – To become Savarkar one has to make sacrifices
Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his statement on Savarkar. He said that Rahul can neither become Savarkar nor Gandhi.
In fact, after losing the membership of Parliament, Rahul had said in the press conference – My name is not Savarkar, my name is Gandhi and Gandhi does not apologize to anyone. Deputy CM has replied to this statement Rahul. Fadnavis said that one has to make sacrifices to become Savarkar.
Veer Savarkar is taking out Gaurav Yatra in every district of Maharashtra. The Yatra was in Nagpur on Tuesday. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present at this. Gadkari also accused Rahul of insulting Savarkar.
Addressing the yatra, Fadnavis said – Rahul Gandhi says he will not apologize, he is not Savarkar. You can be neither Savarkar nor Gandhi. To become Savarkar one has to make sacrifices. In Andaman Jail, he was kept in a room as big as our toilet. It was completely dark. He was also forced to do his daily work there. Rahul Gandhi, try staying in that room for one night. We will install AC for you, but you will not be able to stay.
Gadkari expressed his gratitude to Rahul, saying- Savarkar gave him the opportunity to take him from house to house
Addressing the yatra in Nagpur, Nitin Gadkari said that Rahul Gandhi has insulted Veer Savarkar. Insulting Veer Savarkar did not reduce his stature but gave him the opportunity to take him from house to house. We are grateful to Rahul Gandhi for giving us the opportunity to take the truth and Savarkar to every door. Rahul Gandhi should continue it.
Uddhav Thackeray attacked the Shinde faction over the attack on women of his party in Thane. He used words like goonda for Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and fadtoos (useless) for Devendra Fadnavis. Such people do not deserve to live in Thane and Maharashtra. In a press conference, Thackeray said that those who use women should be called impotent.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde started the Veer Savarkar Gaurav Yatra from Thane on 2 April. People participating in this yatra were wearing saffron caps with 'Main Savarkar Hoon' written on them. In fact, during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi commented on Savarkar. After this, CM Shinde announced to take-out Savarkar Gaurav Yatra.
