Punjab Kings again expressed faith in Chhattisgarh's Shashank, retained for Rs 5.5 crore

Shashank Singh, an all-around cricket player from Chhattisgarh, will play for the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) once again. For IPL 2025, Punjab Kings have signed him for Rs 5.5 crore. No Chhattisgarh player has ever received a higher price than this one. whereas Punjab paid just Rs 20 lakh to get Shashank as an uncapped player in the IPL 2024. In addition to this, Shashank was essential to Punjab's numerous wins in the IPL 2024. He became the team's best fisherman. Shashank Singh is now a part of the Chhattisgarh Ranji team.

After being retained by Punjab Kings for IPL-2025, Shashank Singh expressed happiness and said that he will play in IPL for the 5th time.
