Provide Starlink satellite internet; Bangladeshi government appeals to American billionaire

Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, made the invitation to US billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk. Yunus sent a letter to the US's top entrepreneur and CEO of SpaceX requesting him to visit Bangladesh with the objective of launching Starlink's satellite-based internet service in Bangladesh. In his letter dated 19th February, Yunus told Musk that his visit to Bangladesh would provide him with the opportunity to meet the young people of Bangladesh who would be the prime beneficiaries of the revolutionary technology.

He called on Musk to work together to realize their mutual vision for a better future. Starlink's connectivity to Bangladesh's infrastructure will have a transformative effect, state news agency BSS reported on Sunday. This will particularly benefit Bangladesh's entrepreneurial youth, rural and vulnerable women, and remote and disadvantaged communities.
