Alongside this, Murmu expressed concern over the increasing garbage in space and said amid all this, the world needs to learn from ISRO which has pledged to have a garbage-free space mission.

It is worth mentioning that ISRO has targeted to make all of its space missions garbage-free by 2030. He was addressing a program organized on the first anniversary of the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon on August 23 last year. In order to always keep the marvelous success of Chandrayaan-3 in mind, a series of celebrating this date as Space Day has been initiated.

Referring to the success of the Chandrayaan mission, Murmu said that it is an example for the world. ISRO has created a new history by launching 100 satellites simultaneously. Due to ISRO's efforts, many sectors like health and medicine, transport, security, energy, environment, and information technology have got unlimited benefits.

He specifically mentioned opening up space for the private sector and said that this effort of the government has brought a new revolution. Countless start-ups have emerged, which are ready to take a big leap.

On this, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr. Jitendra Singh said that today India's space economy is eight billion US dollars, but in the next ten years it can reach 44-45 billion dollars. Jitendra Singh said that at the speed at which we are moving, it is not difficult to cross this figure.
