Porsche Row: One arrested for tampering with blood sample; Minor's father will also be taken into custody

Pune car accident is in controversy these days. Pune Police has today arrested one more accused in the case. The accused is allegedly accused of tampering with the blood sample. Apart from this, the court has given permission to the police to take into custody the father of the accused in the driver hostage case.

The whole matter starts on Sunday. In the early hours of Sunday, the 17-year-old accused was driving a luxury car under the influence of alcohol. During this, he hit a bike. Two people died in this. Both were engineers by profession. The people nearby first beat the accused badly and then handed him over to the police. The deceased have been identified as Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Costa. Both were going home after partying.

At the Yerwada police station, a case was filed against the defendants under a number of sections, including 279 (rash driving), 304 A (causing death by negligence), 337 (endangering human life), and 338 (causing grievous hurt). The defendant was also placed under arrest. Only on Sunday was he brought before the court. The judge gave him his freedom. The court ordered him to spend fifteen days working with the Yerwada traffic police and to write an essay about traffic accidents. He was placed in the observation home by the court after the argument got out of hand. The accused's father and grandfather were among the four persons detained by the police.

Regional Transport Officer Sanjeev Bhor said on Monday that representatives of Porsche reached the Yerwada police station for a technical inspection of the car. Maharashtra Transport Commissioner Vivek Bhimanawar had earlier said that the car was imported by a Bengaluru dealer in March. From there it was sent to Maharashtra on temporary registration. The permanent registration of the vehicle has been pending since March due to the non-payment of fees of Rs 1,758 by the owner.
