According to information, 30-year-old Pooja Singh is MA from Political Science. Pooja Singh had heard about Tulsi marriage. He had also seen it once in his maternal grandfather. Then she thought that when Thakurji can marry Tulsaji then why can't she marry Thakurji. When he asked Pandit ji about it, he also said that it can happen. After this Pooja spoke to her mother, initially she said how could this happen, but then agreed. Her father Prem Singh got angry with the idea of Pooja's marriage and flatly refused. Due to displeasure, father did not even come to this marriage. It was Pooja's own decision to marry Thakurji. Many people supported and many people even made fun of her, but Pooja did not care about them. For the last two years she wanted to do this marriage, but finally it has happened now.
Pooja says that she has made God her husband. People used to say that being married was a matter of good fortune for a girl. God is immortal, so I am also married forever. After college, the family members started looking for a boy for marriage. When Pooja informed the family members about her decision, they were surprised. When the father did not attend Pooja's wedding, the mother performed all the rituals of the marriage. During the wedding rituals, from applying turmeric to mehndi, the rituals were done with pomp. Friends decorated the puja. He also danced with his friends. Auspicious songs were sung daily in the house.
According to tradition, the bridegroom fills the bride's demand with vermilion, but in this marriage, this tradition also happened in a different way. Pooja Singh himself filled his demand on behalf of Thakurji. Thakurji likes sandalwood more than vermilion, so Pooja Singh also filled his demand with sandalwood instead of vermilion. This marriage between Pooja Singh and Thakurji took place according to all the customs. Rituals ranging from Ganesh puja to chakbhat, mehendi, women's music, and pheras took place. Thakurji was brought as a bridegroom from the village temple to Pooja Singh's house. Mantras were chanted, and auspicious songs were sung. When the father did not come, the mother took care of the daughter-in-law by sitting in the rounds. After this, there was farewell. On behalf of the family, 11000 rupees were given to Kanyadaan and the jeweller. Thakur Ji was given a throne and dress.
Pooja Singh tells that now no one can taunt me that even after being so big, she is sitting virgin. I have made God my husband. After marriage, Thakurji has returned to the temple while Pooja stays at her home. In her room, Pooja has made a small temple, which houses Thakurji. She now sleeps on the ground in front of them. Everyday at seven in the morning, she makes bhog and takes it to Thakurji sitting in the temple. Which the priests of the temple offer to God. Similarly, she goes to the temple in the evening as well.
