Police took Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa to the crime spot, 13 people arrested so far
Leading Kannada film actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, arrested in a murder case, was taken to Pattanagere on Wednesday to inspect the crime spot where the crime took place. Darshan's close friend and actress Pavitra Gowda is the main accused in the case. All were brought to the scene. Police arrested 13 people including Darshan and Gowda on Tuesday in the murder case.
Leading Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, who was detained in connection with the murder of Renuka Swamy, was brought to Pattanagere on Wednesday to examine the scene of the crime. In addition to this, actor and close friend of Darshan Pavitra Gowda has also been included in the scene. They are the primary accused parties in this case.
Nikhil, Vinay, Karthik, Raghavendra, and Darshan's other coworkers were also brought to the scene for questioning. They are said to have disposed of the body. In relation to the actor's fan Renukaswamy's murder, the police on Tuesday detained 13 persons, including Darshan and Gowda.
Meanwhile, police sources said four more suspects, including a woman, are absconding in the case. Renukaswamy, a resident of the district headquarters town of Chitradurga, had allegedly commented on Gowda's social media account, accusing him of creating a rift between the actor and his wife. According to police sources, she had allegedly used abusive language and posted objectionable messages.
