PM Modi's first reaction to Supreme Court's decision, know what the Prime Minister said

The Supreme Court on Monday justified the Modi government's decision to remove Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed happiness over this decision of the Supreme Court. PM Modi said that this decision of the Supreme Court is historic. It constitutionally upholds the decision taken by the Parliament of India on 5 August 2019. Prime Minister Modi also assured the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh that the government's commitment to fulfil their dreams is unwavering.

Responding to the Supreme Court's decision, the Prime Minister posted an "Upholds the decision as constitutional. It is a resounding declaration of hope, progress and unity for our sisters and brothers in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh."

Prime Minister Modi said that the Court, with its profound knowledge, has strengthened the very essence of unity which we, as Indians, hold dear and cherish above all else. I want to assure the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh that our commitment to fulfil your dreams is unwavering. We are committed to ensuring that the benefits of progress not only reach you but also reach the most vulnerable and marginalized sections of our society who suffered because of Article 370. Today's decision is not just a legal decision; It is a ray of hope, a promise of a brighter future and a testament to our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united India.
