Before going into meditation, he also worshiped at the famous Sri Bhagwati Amman Temple here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Hoshiarpur, Punjab on Thursday. With the address of this rally, PM Modi concluded his Lok Sabha election campaign. After the announcement of the election program released by the Election Commission (EC) on March 16, Prime Minister Modi conducted a total of 206 rallies and public relations programs like road shows across the country.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Kanyakumari concurrently with the end of his election campaign. Here, at the well-known Vivekananda Rock Memorial of Kanyakumari, he will practise meditation. From May 30 to June 1, PM Modi will be meditating at Dhyan Mandapam in the evening. He also offered prayers at the well-known Sri Bhagavathi Amman temple here before entering meditation. There is a known fact that PM Modi will regularly meditate in the same spot as Swami Vivekananda, day and night.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi addressed 145 rallies. This time he crossed this figure. This time his election rally was for 76 days as compared to 68 days last year. It is known that when the Election Commission announced the election schedule, even then PM Modi was on a tour of South India. During this time he covered all the five states of South India.
