It is worth noting that April 13, 1919, was that dark day, when people were peacefully protesting against the Rowlatt Act in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. During this time, British officer General Dyer ordered his soldiers to fire on the crowd, in which hundreds of innocent people were killed.
