Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian Athelete Nishad Kumar on winning the silver medal in the men's high jump event at the Paris Paralympics. The Prime Minister wrote in a post on X (Therads), 'Congratulations to .@nishad_hj for his remarkable achievement in winning the silver medal in the men's high jump T47 event at the #Paralympics2024! He has shown us all that everything is possible with passion and determination. Every Indian is happy.', says his caption.
Indian athletes continue to excel in Paris Paralympics 2024. Nishad Kumar in yound age of 25 has also won a silver medal at the Tokyo Paralympics. Nishad has become the youngest para-athlete to win a silver medal for India in two consecutive Paralympic Games. India has won seven medals in this Paralympics 2024 till date.
