Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack of 2019. He said that their sacrifice would never be forgotten in generations to come, and their unbreakable faith in the country. In a massive terror strike on this day in 2019, 40 soldiers of the country were brutally killed.

The Prime Minister said in a post on 'X', 'Tribute to the courageous heroes we lost in Pulwama in 2019. Future generations will never forget their sacrifice and their unwavering dedication to the nation.'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the 40 CRPF jawans martyred in the attack. He said that the Modi government is determined to completely destroy the terrorists. The government has adopted a policy of 'zero tolerance' against terrorism. He said in a post on 'X', 'I pay my heartfelt tribute on behalf of the grateful nation to the soldiers martyred in the cowardly terrorist attack in Pulwama on this day in 2019.'

The Home Minister said that terrorism is the biggest enemy of humanity and the whole world is united against it. Shah said that whether it is a surgical strike or an air strike, the Modi government is committed to the complete destruction of terrorists with a zero-tolerance policy against them.

Pakistan's terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed attacked a bus carrying soldiers of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Pulwama on 14 February 2019, killing 40 soldiers. Indian Air Force fighter planes took revenge a few days later by bombing terror camps in Pakistan.
