PM laid the foundation stone of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme worth 25 thousand crores, the face of these railway stations will change
Under the Amrit Bharat scheme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the online foundation stone for the redevelopment project of a total of 508 railway stations in India at a cost of about Rs 25,000 crore. Under this project, foundation stones were laid for the rejuvenation of 20 railway stations in Jharkhand state including four major railway stations Manoharpur, Badbil, Rajgangpur, and Rajkharswa under Chakradharpur Railway Division.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the online foundation stone of the Amrit Bharat station scheme costing Rs 25,000 crore. Under this, there is a plan to redevelop a total of 508 railway stations across the country. There is a plan to develop 20 railway stations Jharkhand in 508 railway stations to be redeveloped.
Online foundation laying ceremony of railway projects was organized on Sunday regarding the online foundation laying of the redevelopment scheme of Manoharpur railway station. Under this project, foundation stones were laid for the rejuvenation of 20 railway stations of Jharkhand state including four major Manoharpur, Barbil, Rajgangpur, and Rajkharswa coming under Chakradharpur Railway Division.
Former MLA Gurcharan Nayak, Zilla Parishad Vice President Ranjit Yadav, Malti Giluwa, and many top officers of Chakradharpur Railway Division were specially present as guests at the foundation stone laying ceremony organized by the Railway Administration in Manoharpur.
Before starting the program, the invited guests were welcomed by providing bouquets and clothes. On this occasion, while addressing the people present, the guests praised the railway administration for the plans related to the rejuvenation of the stations in their area and the ambitious rail project.
At the same time, he said that the common rail passengers and the local people will get benefit from the implementation of the project. Along with this, he urged the railway administration to stop and operate various passenger trains. During the program, meritorious students were felicitated by the guests.
Hundreds of people present during the program also watched the live telecast of the online foundation laying ceremony by PM Narendra Modi. PM Narendra Modi duly laid the foundation stone of the redevelopment project of 508 railway stations including Sir Manoharpur at a cost of about Rs 25 thousand crore under the online Amrit Bharat Yojana from Delhi at around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Addressing the people through video conference, PM Modi said that the amount of work done in the Railways pleases and surprises everyone. More railway tracks have been laid in our country in these 9 years than countries like South Africa, Ukraine, Poland, the UK, and Sweden have in the world. In the last year alone, more rail tracks have been built in India than in countries like South Korea, New Zealand, and Australia.
Rajeev Gupta, ADRM and CPM of CKP Railway Division present at the foundation stone laying ceremony, gave detailed information about the railway projects to the people. Hundreds of people present in the foundation stone laying program were shown live broadcast through video conferencing.
