Ghanshyam Magar brought them into the game with a super raid. Only Rakesh contributed 7 points, and defender Jitender Yadav managed to shine with 6 points for Gujarat. It was an exciting match where both teams were running back with 2-2 till 4 minutes, but Shivam Patare took two points on do or die and put Haryana ahead by 4-2. Then Rahul made a kill of Gumaan and reduced the gap to 3. Vinay again brought Gujarat into a super tackle situation with a kill.

When Vinay raided next, Neeraj went out. On Partik's raid, Shadlu got self-out and gave Gujarat one point. This was followed by some great comeback by Gujarat's defense as they snatched a kill of Vinay. Now, the score read 6-7 and by the end of the 16th minute, it became 10-10. Meanwhile, Ghanshyam put Haryana ahead 13-10 with a super raid in a do-or-die situation. Gujarat was in the super tackle position when an exciting situation came about. Then Shadlu wiped out Gujarat in one raid. The team from Haryana now had the lead 18-12. But soon after that all-in, Shadlu got out.

Shadlu was off the mat for close to nine minutes and this was a cause for concern for Haryana. Six minutes of play had been done in the second half and Haryana had taken a 23-16 lead. Shadlu was also back. Meanwhile, Gujarat's defense managed to hunt Shivam and pushed Haryana into a super tackle situation. Gujarat made full use of the situation, super tackling Parteek ahead 8-26 was the score in favor of Haryana for the 30 minutes of play. At the start of the second half, again the super tackle of Parteek took Haryana to a 28-19 advantage. Prateek revived but came up, to do or die raid alone and could not return.

Haryana first managed a 10-point lead with the third super tackle and then extended it to 12 with two consecutive points. Now less than three minutes were left. Gujarat tried to make a comeback by getting two points from the super tackle but failed. Then Haryana completed the formality of victory by all-outing Gujarat.
