Shikhar Dhawan took all the blame on himself to save his batsmen and bowlers. Dhawan played an inning of 45 runs in 37 balls with the help of 5 fours and a six, which he described as slow. Punjab, batting first, set a target of 177 runs for RCB, which RCB achieved in 19.2 overs at the loss of 6 wickets.
After losing to RCB, Shikhar Dhawan said that he took full responsibility for himself. He said that it was a good game, we even came back in the game but lost again. We scored 10-15 runs less, I played slowly in the powerplay. Those 10-15 runs and Kohli's dropped catch cost us dearly. I felt I could have played a little faster in the first six overs.
