Paris Masters 2023: Djokovic defeated Rublev and entered the final of Paris Masters

Novak Djokovic has entered the final of the Rolex Paris Masters after defeating Andre Rublev 5-7, 7-6(3), 7-5 in the semi-finals. In the semi-final match, Djokovic, ranked number 1 in tennis, continued his winning streak and reached the record 58th Masters 1000 final of his career. Now he is just one win away from a record 40th Masters 1000 title.

Let us tell you that this is the 50th win of this year for world number 1 Novak Djokovic. Djokovic has achieved the feat of winning 50 or more matches in a single year 14 times. He is the third player to win 50 or more matches in 14 different seasons at the Open, tied for second with Jimmy Connors.

Djokovic scored in the year 2007 (68), in 2008 (64), in 2009 (78), in 2010 (61), in 2011 (70), in 2012 (75), in 2013 (74), in 2014 (61), had registered wins in 2015 (82), 2016 (65), 2018 (53), 2019 (57) and 2021 (55).

Djokovic is now one win away from his seventh Rolex Paris Masters title. No other player in the history of the tournament has won this title more than three times. Whereas Djokovic has won the Rolex Paris Masters title six times. With this, he has left Rafael Nadal behind in terms of the best winning percentage in the history of Masters 1000.
